Dr. Nina Nejmeh
CEO
Dr Nina Nejmeh is a doctor of integrative medicine, a highly experienced Medical Consultant and Healthcare Advisor with a strong background in research and development, she has formulated nine Health Canada-approved nutraceutical products. She leads a team of experts in healthcare promotion, legal services, business development, financial management, and process improvement, helping clients navigate complex healthcare challenges.

Driven by a deep passion for multidisciplinary patient care, Dr. Nejmeh holds an advanced diploma in Naturopathic Medicine and Western Herbal Medicine, as well as a Ph.D. in Orthomolecular Medicine from the Canadian College of Humanitarian Medicine. Her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Toronto laid the foundation for her work in patient counseling.

Dr. Nejmeh is a strategic thinker known for her innovative and logical approach to problem-solving. Her leadership in both healthcare and humanitarian medicine has made her a sought-after advisor. She also served for 10 years as a Deputy Minister for the International Parliament for Safety and Peace, contributing to global efforts in humanitarian work. Through her dedication, she consistently strives to improve patient care while maintaining operational efficiency and fostering strong relationships.

Dr. Ameer Nejmeh
VP of Operations, Board Member
Dr. Ameer Nejmeh is a medical doctor who attended York university in Ontario, later AUSOM Medical School where he completed his clinical training in West Virginia, USA. There, he has co-written multiple case-studies and helped administer valuable treatments for patients with addictions.
Dr. Nejmeh’s field of interest include pediatrics and family medicine. He is a patient advocate, and enjoys volunteering his time whenever possible. He participates in humanitarian work in his community inToronto. He is aspiring to join ‘Doctors without Borders’ in order to help those who do not have access to adequate infrastructure and medical care.

Dr. Marcus Ibrahim
Medical Advisor, Board Member
Dr. Marcus Ibrahim is passionate about patient advocacy and the importance of maintaining patient safety. He has worked on numerous cases ranging from MVA patients to personal injury cases. He has a vast knowledge of both Canadian as well as American medical systems and protocols. He has worked closely with some of the foremost medical authorities in various medical specialties. Dr. Ibrahim has collaborated and led numerous initiatives striving to advance his patients’ well- being and over-all health. This is reflected in his numerous community outreach programs and various humanitarian trips as well as volunteer work. Dr. Ibrahim has authored articles in numerous medical journals and websites. He is valued and respected by his patients, their families, and our clients.

Dr. Charles Levy
Senior Medical Advisor, Board Member
Dr. Levy, CEO of Affordable Healthcare Solutions, LLC, is a practicing neurological surgeon with extensive experience in healthcare leadership and consulting. His principal focus is on establishing neuroscience centers of excellence and improving existing centers. Dr. Levy is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Julian Ibrahim
Legal Assistant, Board Member
Julian Ibrahim studied history at York University in Toronto at the undergraduate level. He graduated from law school with honors completing an LLB degree from Bangor University in the United Kingdom. Julian is preparing for his articling period while simultaneously pursuing a masters degree in International law. Throughout his legal career, Julian has worked in the legal department of a global production company in the UK, interned at law firms in Canada, England, and Wales which specialize in privacy law, and spearheaded a mentorship program that connects law students with legal professionals across the country. He aspires to use his intellectual curiosity to be a problem-solver and an advocate for clients’ best interests. During his articles, Julian will be working with the Corporate, Real Estate, and Commercial practice groups.

Dr. Ralph Rizk
Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Ralph Rizk, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, specializes in hip and knee reconstruction/replacement and surgical treatment of shoulder, hand, foot & ankle conditions. Trained at Drexel University College of Medicine/Allegheny Health Network, he excels in robotic surgery, including the anterior approach. His expertise includes multimodal pain management for faster recovery. Raised in Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Rizk, with roots in the community, aligns with NIO Consulting Group's commitment to excellence in orthopedic solutions. His proficiency in cutting-edge techniques makes him a valuable collaborator in advancing orthopedic care.

Dr. Tim Damaso
Chiropractic Doctor, Board Member
Certified Independent Chiropractic Examiner with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment 6th edition). Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator. Have been practicing Chiropractic and performing Independent medical evaluations since 2008.

Mr. Michael Shewey
CFO
Michael is our experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a deep understanding of financial management and a passion for driving growth and innovation in the healthcare industry. With years of experience in financial management, Michael has become an integral part of the NIO team. He is skilled in financial analysis, strategic planning, and risk management, always working to ensure that NIO remains financially stable and well-positioned for growth. Michael's dedication to sound financial management and his commitment to driving NIO's success make him a valuable member of our team.Samia aligns on a personal level too, as she leads a healthy lifestyle that incorporates meditation and mindful practices.

Mr. Nick Hoffman
Imaging and Regulatory Advisor
Nick was formally trained with the Royal Air Force in Telecommunications and Air Defense systems. He entered the medical industry as an international MRI technical support engineer for North America. He worked with the first clinical systems, supporting research and luminary accounts as they entered the market. He has over 40 years of experience in digital diagnostic Imaging systems spanning all acquisition modalities, data transmission and storage. He has held the role of MRI product manager and sales marketing manager with international medical device companies. He has owned medical device distribution companies and supported innovation in cancer screening and detection technologies.
He was an embedded executive with the Ontario Centers of Excellence, assisting start-up companies in commercializing innovation to revenue generation. Over the last fifteen years, he has held senior operational roles with publicly traded medical device companies and acted as the lead consultant for hospitals in Canada and their capital equipment planning.

Ms. Jana Bartley

Jana Bartley has extensive experience working in the health care field as a clinician, educator, manager, legal nurse consultant and a patient advocate. After a rewarding 28 year career as a nurse, Jana decided to build a selective team of healthcare professionals to assist patients in navigating the complexities of today’s healthcare system with an emphasis on education to facilitate empowerment and engagement.

Samia Nejmeh joins the NIO group team as a talented business consultant. Under her realm of marketing, her passion for creating curated client experiences, is paralleled with her ingenuity in building partnerships and community development. Her marketing acumen showcases her flair for meshing conventional and innovative strategies resulting in a brand of her own! Under her business development umbrella, her biggest accomplishments have been being part of various start ups both in Canada and abroad; in the retail, manufacturing and hospitality sectors. Her entrepreneurial roots lead her to infuse her client’s company mission with her professional values, to deliver on growth and sustainability, while exceeding stakeholders’ goals through dedicated collaboration.

Jeoyce Anne Taguiam
Executive Assistant
Jeoyce, holding a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Centro Escolar University in the Philippines, has work experience Over 4 years in a BPO company, she transitioned from a call center role to becoming a lead trainer, demonstrating proficiency in communication and leadership. Along the way, Jeoyce diversified her skills by delving into graphic design and administrative responsibilities.

Her current role is a Administrative Assistant to the CEO and she also provides support to the executive team at NIO.

Diana Valler is an enthusiastic international executive with 20 years of extensive experience in Strategic Human Resources, Talent Management and Organizational Transformation that focus on tangible business results.
